The vision of these immaculately presented villas and the haven of quality hospitality they represent came from international entrepreneur and Franschhoek resident, Michael Pawlowski, who identified his personal needs when travelling with his wife and four children.

Guests are greeted with a welcome bottle of the owners sparkling, red and white wine. The concierge can arrange unique and less known wine experiences in the area such as a unique music and wine pairing experience at a local winery.

The owners of La Clé des Montagnes are foundation sponsors of The Kusasa Project, a local community organization that serves 1500 children in 5 local schools, utilizing up to 60 volunteers and operating both in-school and after-school programs. These programs range from feeding, literacy, sport, life skills to art, drama, chess and ballet. They focus on disadvantaged children, to offer activities which schools are unable to offer.
