Unique. Authentic. African. Journeys.

WHO WE ARE

Our Story

When asked to describe what we do, the easy answer is that we design custom, unique adventures on the African continent. But that doesn't begin to describe it. The continent of Africa is vast, diverse, insanely beautiful and impossible to capture in words. Visiting the continent is a journey like no other, but it requires careful planning and coordination to ensure the best experience.

We know. We have been visiting for over 25 years. In that time, we have been lucky enough to witness the great spectacles and the rare events, but we have also discovered some of the hidden experiences, the quiet corners and the paths less travelled.

We are a small team who are passionate about exploring this fabulous place and sharing its magic with as many fellow explorers as possible.

The wonderful people you meet will live in your memory forever. The depth and variety of experience is endless, and the sense of awe never diminishes.

Africa defies description. It lives in the experience. It lives in how we internalize it and interpret its message.

Our promise to you is that we will listen, we will work with you and we will do everything possible to build a journey and an adventure that will live on in happy memories long after you have returned home.

MEET THE TEAM

I have loved Africa for as long as I can remember. Even before I ever set foot on the continent I knew I needed to get there. After my first trip, I was hooked.

That was decades ago and I have returned almost every year since.

People often ask me what keeps me coming back. That’s not easy to answer. The vastness of the continent, the variety of habitats and wildlife all make a huge impact.

But the thing that I love the most is the warmth and sincere welcome of its people.

My first trip to Africa was more than 30 years ago and was planned by what would become Leopard Adventures. My husband and I visited the Kruger area and Cape winelands in South Africa and we couldn’t have chosen a more adventurous and romantic destination for our honeymoon trip. Over the past several decades, I’ve had the privilege of visiting the continent on many occasions and sharing the experience with my family. There is something truly magical about watching your children as they see their first herd of elephants playing in a water hole or hear and feel the sound of a lion roaring only several meters from the safety of the vehicle.

The wildlife is amazing but the warmth and pride of the people is what draws me back again and again. I have always been passionate about travel and I am so incredibly grateful to work in a travel industry focused on conservation and sustainability while celebrating unique cultures and giving back to the local communities. This is Africa.

Africa changes you forever, like nowhere else on earth. It’s impossible to describe the magic of this vast, beautiful continent – the cradle of mankind – whose oldest roads are elephant paths and where we first stood upright on this earth.

I first travelled to Africa over 12 years ago and it changed the course of my life. After Leopard Adventures booked several amazing trips for me, I knew I had to make it a part of my life. You could say that I loved working with Leopard Adventures so much that I joined the company! I have returned to Africa many times since and every time it’s a new experience.

Africa’s incredible abundance of untouched natural beauty will move you to tears, laughter and awe, and it will truly touch your soul!

I have always felt drawn to the continent of Africa and took my first safari to the Okavango Delta in Botswana and Victoria Falls in 2014. It resonated deeply and followed with another safari to Kenya and Uganda in 2018 and South Africa in 2021. I marvel at the opportunity to see some of the world’s most amazing wildlife, up close and personal. It’s impactful to witness our most iconic creatures in their natural habitats and equally compelling to behold the sweeping plains of the Serengeti or the rugged terrain of the Okavango Delta. Africa is wildlife, phenomenal people, and rich culture. After a full career in the aviation industry, I was fortunate enough to transition to the team who helped arrange all my beautiful safari experiences. As I continue to explore the continent, it’s a true pleasure working with clients on their own dreams of Africa!

I have loved to travel for as long as I can remember, both abroad and domestically. I've seen some truly beautiful places, but I had no idea what I was missing out on until I took my first trip to Africa last year.

The wildlife, the landscapes, the generosity of the people—the magic of the African continent is unmatched. You will experience some of the most breathtaking moments of your life, from the safaris you'll go on to the meals you'll share.

I witnessed the rare black leopard in Laikipia, I dined under the stars in the Masai Mara, I woke up to zebras right outside my tent, and I shared stories and countless laughs with friends from several different countries during my time in Kenya.

I can promise that Leopard Adventures will help you plan the trip of a lifetime, because the company I love and work for did just that for me. I relish the memories I made on my dream African trip, and I CAN'T wait for the ones I have yet to make.
