Tsika Island, Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia

Set in the middle of the Zambezi River, approximately 35 kilometers upstream of Chongwe, Tsika Island provides an authentic, island bush camp experience.

The camp with its three rustic chalets, nestles in Albida groves and reeded channels. With no natural predators on the Island the rooms feature open structures under thatch with simple coco poles securing the windows.

Sunrise and sunset can be spent drifting on the river, game viewing and fishing from your motorboat - or cast a rod from the comfort of an armchair set on the riverbank.

Your dinner table under the stars is close to the crackling campfire and lit by traditional Tilly paraffin lamps. No noisy generator, no other guests, no distractions - just you and nature.

Our safaris are sold on a fully inclusive basis with: accommodation, all meals, standard bar drinks, laundry, Royal Airstrip transfers to/from our camps, inter-camp transfers and two guided safaris per day.
