Tafika Camp, South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

Tafika camp is the base camp for Remote Africa Safaris, and offers exceptional game viewing combined with mountain bike safaris, bush walks and visits to the Mkasanga village. The camp has four individual chalets, one 2-bedroom family chalet and one honeymoon chalet – all en-suite, made completely of natural materials and rebuilt every year.

Remote Africa Safaris is privately owned by John and Carol Coppinger, consisting of four intimate camps within remote areas of the South and North Luangwa National Parks. Their highly skilled guides tailor-make each day in the bush. Tafika Camp is located on the banks of the Luangwa River in the Nsefu sector, just outside the South Luangwa National Park. The Chikoko Trails is slightly upstream from Tafika along the west bank of the Luangwa River in the South Luangwa National Park. Mwaleshi is one of only two camps in the North Luangwa National Park.
