Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp is located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area - situated in the Ngorongoro Crater rim valley, close to the access road into the crater, giving guests unrivaled access to the crater floor.

Ngorongoro is home to a large assortment of animals including zebra, buffalo, warthog, wildebeest, hippo and elephants; and an amazing population of predators - lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the elusive leopard.

Game Drives

Enjoy thrilling game drives lead by highly qualified guides in closed 4 x 4 game viewing vehicles. Game drives are conducted in the early morning and late afternoon in the Ngorongoro crater and on the rim. We offer one crater floor game drive per stay. If guests are staying for 2x nights we will also offer a Lake Manyara National Park game drive on the second day.

Cultural Activities

Guests can enjoy cultural activities in a nearby Masai village.

Their goal is to identify and sponsor long-term, viable and self-sustaining projects that will have the support of their staff and visitors. The projects listed on these pages are all collaborative. They work closely with the local communities to determine their needs and improve their well-being.
