More Quarters Hotel, Cape Town, South Africa

More Quarters' collection of converted heritage townhouses and Redcliffe House offer you all the spoils of five-star hospitality and the privacy of individual accommodations. With their entrances onto a cobbled lane adjoining the main hotel, they create the feel of a secluded quarter in the Cape Town suburb of Gardens.

Each of the 27 Rooms at More Quarters has been individually designed to give families, couples, honeymooners, and those taking some time for themselves their own living spaces. The Rooms' look and feel is understatedly polished, with a retro edge, and you can always expect fresh coffee and flowers, crisp linen, luxurious bath products, and all of the conveniences you might need.

Each of our 23 Luxury Rooms has a character and appeal of its own – no one better than the last. All feature a spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom, TV lounge, and a handy little kitchenette. The four Family Rooms (for groups of friends, too) each include a second en-suite bedroom. When laid out for children – with their own amenities, toys and treats – it'll have them settled in no time!

More Quarter's Redcliffe House

Minutes from Cape Town’s beaches, cafes, boutiques and galleries, you will find no better place to base yourself and your family, or group of friends than at More Quarters’ Redcliffe House. The house offers you all the spoils of five-star hospitality and the privacy of your own city retreat.

This exclusive heritage house, with four en-suite bedrooms, has plenty of space for everyone and invites easy relaxation. It’s just the setting for you to take up sun loungers in view of the mountains or cosy around the sitting room fireplace; to cook together in the kitchen, or have the day off and enlist a private chef. The long dining table is sure to host gatherings for even-longer lunches.

Beyond the Hotel

From your home for the holiday, it is for you to decide how much or little to do… The Hotel Concierge is always available to assist and More Quarters is an ideal base from which to explore the city, surrounding beaches, mountains, and winelands… And to come back to, where you can kick off your shoes and flop on the couch.

Community Tour, With More Community Trust

This tour gives a very personal and authentic look into life in the townships.

The tour begins with a stop in at the MCT-supported Injongo Educare Crèche, Mfuleni where guests can help to make or serve the children breakfast, and read, play ball and have singalongs with them. This is followed by a short walk down the road to where the crèche began at the home of inspirational founder, Mavis Ngcongolo who will be there to greet the group.

Then it’s on to the township of Khayelitsha where guests can see the whole of Cape Town’s biggest location from Lookout Hill at the Tourism Centre, before taking a drive through the streets, hearing about its history and people as they go.

The tour’s last stop is Langa (meaning ‘sun’) and arguably Cape Town’s most vibrant and progressive settlement. Here, guests visit Langa Heritage Museum in The Old Pass Court building, Guga Sthebe Arts & Culture Centre for local empowerment, and Langa Quarter where the Ikhaya Le Langa project is furthering social enterprise and creating a tourism hotspot.

Sunrise Private Celebratory Picnic

As the sun dawns on your special day, celebrate the occasion with a sunrise picnic on Signal Hill. Romantic, exciting, it’s befitting any event from a birthday to anniversary, or proposal… At the most scenic lookout point, we’ll pop the bubbly and lay on treats especially for you.

In-Room Spa Therapies

Nothing puts you in holiday mode and recharges your batteries like a bit of pampering – and with our in-room spa offering, you needn’t change out of your robe. Body treatments, facials, and mani-pedis courtesy of trusted therapists from Mobile Beauty bring the experience to you.

More Quarters – The Breakfast Room

The hotel's à la carte menu of warm dishes is wholly satisfying, including familiar and spiced-up favourites. But if you can’t wait to get out and explore Cape Town, the deli-style buffet offers grab-’em-and-go options, like bottled smoothies and breakfast pots, whole fruit, and fresh muffins and pastries.

The chefs will also happily cater for any dietary preferences – children have their own breakfasts to choose from, too – and requirements (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, etc.). And if later on you’re feeling a bit peckish, there are always treats to look forward to by way of afternoon tea…
